When we invite students to create drama and dance from their own words, we telegraph a message that their thoughts, feelings and voices matter. This topic overview presentation offers a series of writing prompts and invites participants to experience the power of their own words, shaped artically through poetry, drama and dance. Formats and structures to support student composition in writing, drama, and dance are also shared.
